Quotes acceptance

RE: Quotes acceptance
G'day Emporium.

My approach is is perhaps a bit too simple for you,as you seem to enjoy confronting stuffwits.

I assert only "I do not believe in god(s),the soul, angels, demons, the paranormal, dragons, mountain trolls, alien visitations or fairies at the bottom of my garden due to lack of evidence". I make no claims and so have no burden of roof. I need prove/disprove/ falsify exactly nothing.

I do not argue with apologists.Beliefs formed and maintained without the use of reason or evidence will rarely be demolished using those tools. PLUS, I really, truly do not give a rat's rectum about the personal superstitions of others,as long as they leave me alone.Knock at my door, they get long enough for me to identify them. (15-30 seconds) I then politely close the door. In the street or socially. I walk away. If they persist, I may say some aggressive and unkind things.

My overall position: You believe in any or all of the things I mentioned above? How wonderful for you! You'd like me to share your beliefs? No prob. Simply show the evidence in support of your claims. (No,NOT your sacred books). If you are unable to do so,please stop wasting my time and bugger off.

So far, nobody in recorded history has been able to prove or falsify the existence of god(s)

Quote:When debating any issue, there is an implicit burden of proof on the person asserting a claim.[1] This burden does not necessarily require a mathematical or strictly logical proof, although many strong arguments do rise to this level (such as in logical syllogisms). Rather, the evidential standard required for a given claim is determined by convention or community standards, with regard to the context of the claim in question.[2][3]
