That core problem is unlikely to change, but I think it's getting harder and harder to do it. The internet especially makes insulating people from different viewpoints (and fact checking) extremely difficult. There seems to be a drift towards more liberal theists, with the doctrine being watered down a bit more each generation. That's in (most) civilised countries, anyway.

Sadly in some places they will still disown, beat or even kill you for daring to be different. That's the last refuge of religion I think. The rest of it won't entirely go away, but I believe it will get diluted into obscurity in time.
