That doesn't appear to tell us much though.
That's kind of what I meant when I said that it's all just definitions. It happens all the time in science, whether it's granite, planets, emotions etc. You have the historical lay person definition and the scientific definition and the two get often confused when scientists and lay people communicate with one another.
It doesn't tell us anything about reality, it's just quarrelling about semantics.
