Except that it's not -just- definitions. Those definitions refer to something demonstrable, other than themselves. Just because some pissant has nothing other than semantics to rely on, doesn't mean that the subject of disagreement is just semantics. It;s up to the arguers to define their use of the term either explicitly, or by context. If a person wants to talk evolution, genetics, ancestry, classification....they don't get to make up pet definitions and talk about them -as though- they were still talking about the former. That's equivocation. Bad science -and- bad logic.
