It is not known whether religion is toward good or null ends. Therefore, it's not known what should be done about religion.
But how would you react if someone, who according to his/her religious beliefs and morality, says that you are a criminal because you do X, and X is immoral and a crime according to this person and you should be punished accordingly?
I'd attempt to reason with them to find out why they felt that way. If they couldn't come up with good reasons for it, I'd dismiss their concerns and tell them that I thought they were wrong. Democracy and free speech is the road to conflict resolution.
What would you do?
