I would agree in a very real and practical sense. But if you really believe, then this is not necessarily true. For example we are told Jesus treated people (who possibly had a mental or even physical condition, which affected behaviour) for demonic posession. Nowadays that would be regarded as crackpot...but if you really believe why would that be the case?
