Adrian has banned me from chat: he's libertarian except in his own back yard.

I banned you from the chat because you were getting on my nerves by continually ignoring what I said and just asserting that somehow I was a rich kid. You cannot accept that in this instance you are wrong, and you continue to prod your nose where it has no business. Out of the two of us, I am the one who knows more about my life than you, so kindly stop acting as if you have lived even a day in my shoes.

As for being a libertarian, I see nothing wrong with being a libertarian and banning someone from what is essentially my property. I set up the chatroom, the rules of the forum do not apply, and I can kick / ban anyone I want from it.

When you claim that you believe in minimization or elimination of a governing body because they interfere with your freedoms, yet you wish to be in complete control of everything that you decide you own and to declare what freedoms others have towards what you 'own'... it certainly invites some to believe your are a hypocrite. At the least, it presents to a person that it is not government that you are against: it is government not under your complete control that you are against.

Odder though... is when you claim to have freedom of speech, and then you ban someone because they are getting on your nerves by applying this freedom. Ignoring the man telling crude jokes at the party is fine... preventing him from even being in the party because his jokes offend you is selfish and childish. If you know you're right, and you are tired of arguing with someone about your being right: you stop arguing about it. You do not have to have the last word. Given my experience in the chat room, fr0d0 doesn't talk if you don't talk (excepting the greeting/acknowledgment of your presence).

And for some reason he can't except that he's a posh twat *shrugs*

It isn't a black / white issue. I'm not pretending to be in poverty, but just because I'm not what the government sees as "poor" doesn't mean I'm automatically posh or rich. I'm part of the middle class, I just don't have any money, so that would place me at the lower end of the middle class. Deal with it.

'Rich' and 'poor' are quite subjective. If you can go to college, have a reasonable standard of living (also subjective), and have a third of your day to do what you will: i'd say you are mildly rich. Others would say you are rich. A handful of obscenely rich people would say you are poor.

Adrian certainly is not a twat. He is a human that wears glasses and manages a forum. I think his forum management powers come from his glasses. If he takes off his glasses, he will become incapable of his considerable technobabble skillz. This is why he always wears glasses while he is on this forum.

Ever woken up on the wrong side of the bed?

I have before, and it scared me. I fell asleep on one side of the bed (boyfriend's left), and woke up on the other (boyfriend's right). If that isn't terrifying, i don't know what is.
