Sure why not? 'Cause in the end, even after you snub your nose at me, I got mine for free, you gave up all your money. That's the end result.

Ok, sure, whatever. Do what you wish Mr. State. I can't do a damn thing to stop ya. Decide what I can afford and deduct it from my measley salary. Oh wait... it's not that way at all. Right now all they can do is send me bills. I'll take the freeloader option until they sign your suggestion into law.

Ya know, way back when I used to pay all that money for insurance I went to the hospital. When I got out I got a copy of the bill in the mail. It showed all the charges and in a column right next to it showed "Insurance negotiated settlement" and it was at a greatly reduced rate. 50% or more.
Basicly it was the insurance company telling the hospital, "Fuck that we ain't paying you fukers that amount. We'll give you XX dollars for that."
When I didn't have insurance I attempted a simular negotiation on the charges. They wouldn't hear of it. It was the amount they said and that was that. I brought up the example of the negoitated bills for insurance companies and I was informed that was "different".
Ya know, fuck them. Fuck all of them. Charge me more than you charge them because why? I'm not some multi billionaire or industry? Fuck you Mr. Hospital. Fuck you Mr. 'Consulting Doctor'. Fuck you too Mr. Ambulance. If you don't want to negotiate with me in the same manner and spirit you do with them, fuck you, you ain't getting a red cent.
And I vowed never to have insurance again nor ever pay highway robbers.
So yeah, go to your grave feeling 'prouder' than you would believe I'll feel going to mine.
I used to tell a lot of religious jokes. Not any more, I'm a registered sects offender.
