Mexico's Supreme Court upholds abortion rights nationwide, paving way for federal access

Mexico's Supreme Court on Wednesday struck down a federal law criminalizing abortion, reaffirming an earlier ruling that criminal penalties for abortion were unconstitutional & allowing the federal healthcare system to provide services.

The "real" Christians have an answer to that. This is from the evangelical textbook "America The Land I Love"

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

That's only because Mexico is south, and therefore closer to hell.
