Of the names we were inundated with as kids back in the day, Mark kind of hits the mark, don't you think?  It has also become nearly extinct.  Of the thousands of students I had in the last twenty five years, nary a Mark.

Really?  I have two cousins named Mark so I always thought it was a common name...  Availability bias?

Hear that Cath-y?  You wouldn't want a fine biblical name like Mark to die out, now would you?

If we're talking biblical names, I like David but for sentimental reasons I wouldn't expect anyone else to honor.  

Francis for either sex could work
