I am confused about the initial responses to the OP.

I personally find it refreshing that a woman is stating the obvious in relation to the double standard that exists.

Men can bone as many women as they want, and they receive praise up the wazoo.

If a woman wants to enjoy sex, she's normally branded a ho by society.

Fuck that shit.  A woman should be able to bone as many men as she wants.

I agree. My response was just to show how silly it was to characterise "the western woman" based on one article by one person, regardless of what the article said.

I don't think any less of people for having as much sex as they want, with as many people as they want. It's their body and their choice. It's none of my business, and it certainly doesn't matter what gender they are. Of course, I'd always prefer people have safe sex to avoid unwanted pregnancy and the spread of STDs.
