You're seriously against the state making sure parents don't kill, cripple, or otherwise screw over their children with negligent or abusive behavior?
Well when you start with the state telling parent how to raise your own children, the children end up belonging to the state. We are almost there right now. Forced medications, forced abortions, forced schooling to indoctrinate them at younger ages. This is not an accident. This has been planned for a long time. The purpose is to indoctrinate the young into worshiping the state, that gives them all their rights, get the rights away from parents, get them into the education systems to implant certain messages at younger ages so when they grow up they have already adopted state ideology, and then they support even more control over their lives while thinking they are more free.
The state is god for those who rely on it.
