If congress blocks stuff that the people overwhelmingly want, and the president uses the media to drag the members through the mud, then they're going to have to play ball if they want to be reelected.

Have you been paying attention to what has gone on at all for the last 8 years?  These fuckers are elected from safe-districts and the only thing they worry about is being hit by a primary opponent from the right.

The republicans pushed against Obamacare like 60 times. the democrats should have been doing the same for background checks, and every other issue the people wanted. Except they just refuse to. That's why we need someone like Bernie to put their feet to the fire.
