You know what liberals do? They lose. They lose for a lot of reasons but the single biggest thing that wrecked Obama was that they all patted themselves on the back after 2008 and didn't bother to get off their asses to vote in 2010. Hope and Change came to a screeching halt.
s much as I find conservatards to be despicalbe, jesus-spouting, money-grubbing, white-power, cocksuckers the sad fact is that we need a better class of progressives to knock them off their horses.
But just changing the guy on top is not going to do shit.
Unless it is that fuckhead Drumpf. Then consider what kind of supreme court nominees you'll see coming? They could fuck this country up for the next 30 years.
You're acting and perpetuating the notion that Republicans are above Democrats, and we must reluctantly bow to their authority. Thinking like that is what prevents change, and what lead the greatest country in the world out of contender-ship for the title. We used to be for the people. People were informed, they felt a part of the country. Now people are hardly informed, in the era which they should be most. Whether it's NSA spying or Email Scandals like the one currently taking place with the candidate you're fighting for. People used to feel a part of the country, and now they feel subject to the people of power within it.
And it's because of people like Hillary Clinton, George Bush. Even Barrack Obama to an extent. The people that YOU all voted for out of fear for something that doesn't exist, corrupt politicians who confidently put on the facade of wanting to help, whilst pushing to keep things the same. You, among others fear change, gravitating toward those promising the least, inadvertently solidifying the next four years to be ones in which America continues to be less advanced than other countries, and because of those people, Campaigns no longer start with "We can do it", but "I can do it", which is a depressingly selfish statement and sad state of political affairs considering that the country was founded on the exact opposite and yet the people being voted for are the ones who promise to not fuck it up as much as the last president you voted for who made the exact same statement, under the same reason you're voting for this one. Fine. Let's just magnetically sift toward the center more and more so much so that the next president ends up changing nothing out of stubbornness to remain true to their campaign slogan, and let's pretend that politician is the one that's needed and not another pawn in a long con that's been going on for centuries of silently stripping away the power of the people's voice, no, clearly we need them so that the people actually fighting for real change don't screw up the country, let's vote for that same person another 5 times and pretend that they can fix a country they never set out to change in the first place, that the person actually trying to fix it is the one who would destroy it.
Welcome, to the age of what's politically convenient. I'm yours truly, the person who tried to tell you that a single politician fighting for change does not mean the change he's fighting for is unrealistic. And because of people like you, sir, the U.S is currently Rank 1 in Prisoners, Rank 2 in Ignorance, First in incarceration, First in amount high net worth individuals- people who own more than the bottom 99%, and First in death by Violence. All because of people like you who disavowed efforts to make real change, and instead decided to vote for the same person 10 times in a row only distinguished by difference of name, people who perpetuated unwavering non-action on everything not already politically-convenient to further extend our already atrocious rankings among other countries in a time where the age-old fallacious notion of living in the world's greatest country is still marketed wholeheartedly by people deluding others in to believing that's why it should remain the way it is.
Which is better:
To die with ignorance, or to live with intelligence?
Truth doesn't accommodate to personal opinions.
The choice is yours.
