The answer's pretty simply. Money. The democ-rats diverted funds to push her instead of Bernie right from the get go. She's establishment, so probably they hope to have a bigger chance of winning with yet another corporate seen before shill. Even if they may not be as corporate driven as the Repubs, they still lick corporate boot. Because they haven't got the guts to push a real liberal agenda or because their corporate bed is as cozy as the republican one.
Money buys tv presence, ads, everything you need in an election. Most people don't look any further than their tv. Especially in a primary, when the media doesn't report on you anyway. Oh, they did report on Bernie. In a negative way, mostly, since the media is again corporate, owned by a very few.
