Naah, well imagination being real in the sense that its cause is physical is quite irrelevant. Of course the cause is physical but the subjective experience the neural communications translate to are just what I'd call imaginary but me perceiving the desk is also translated by my neurons communicating but the desk will still be there whether I exist or not while my thoughts will only exist if I exist. So that's what I'd call imaginary. It feels like it's becoming a definition problem now, because obviously thoughts aren't immaterial.
