I think its also interesting that, just like the bible, Grayling is going to fill his book with OTHER people's words and thoughts. This of course is going to allow him to interject somewhere between Confucious and Plato allowing him to come-off as some deep philosophical thinker who has earned the right to print his name alongside the rest of the great thinkers of antiquity. I have to think that in some way this "bible" of his is not only an effort to hijack the title of "atheist messiah" but an exercise in the augmentation of one's own over-inflated ego ..... whether he realizes it consciously or not.
