It sounds like you're making a false dichotomy. Either drowning in lust, or compelte abstinence until an arbitrary prerequisite has been reached. We've heard enough stories and songs about people commiting adultery because they married someone before they knew they were sexually compatible. All good things in moderation, and sex is very good.
