Point being, if we started calling people intellectually disabled as an insult, in a couple of decades that will have been banned from the acceptable norm of speech as well, if this terrible social experiment gone awry keeps destroying freedoms, of course.

I wonder how it hurts you to consider the feelings of another human ... I wonder why you consider linguistic purity more important than human emotions.

Where do I even begin. I am concerned with human wellbeing, and pandering to idiocy is not on my checklist for doing my part in building a better world.
