It is interesting, however, how derogatory words are always incorporated by the injured party for whom they were intentionally meant to harm.

I am fairly certain I even saw some comedy movies where mentally disabled individuals referred to others with the "R" word.
If derogatory terms have become so comedic as to show the absurdity of their usage, then why are we still becoming upset by their usage?
