It is always interesting how we can presume to judge others and how they react to any given situation.
We love to make these rules seem universal for all situations, until the situation is actually revealed and then the rules magically change.
Perhaps there was a valid reason for me to use the derogatory term that I did. Unless anyone else was in the precise situation that I was in at the time, they cannot state for certain that they would not have used the same derogatory term.
Being outside of the situation, having an impersonal bias is not the same as actually being in the situation described.
