The Pet Peeves Thread

People who ignore what I actually say and tell me what I "really mean", that fucking peeves me to no end. If someone isn't going to trust that I mean what I say I mean then it's a waste of time communicating with them.

This, big time. A lot of "debates" I've tried here have gone this way. I may as well not be present, since my lines are being scripted for me by my opponent.

I can't be bothered with it. Misunderstandings are inevitable, but once I clear it up and you still insist you know better than I do what I'm saying, then fuck you.

Intellectual dishonesty really problemises my pisser.

When I smile at someone in the street and they stare directly at me and pull a face like an arse, as if to say "How dare you smile at me!" I'm just trying to be friendly you marshmellow prick. This happens about 40% of the time where I live. It's weird, but I really notice a difference in the reactions I generally get from different places I've lived. I used to live in a much nicer area, and almost everyone would smile back, and return any pleasantry I offered.
