So I understand that my initial comment (i.e. hoping that makes up his mind on God/religion/atheism/etc.) was not actually necessary because that's not going to make a difference to him. He's on his own. I said it anyways just to make him feel better. So, I'll be quiet now.
On a side note, if I wanted to feel better, surely it wasn't with religion.... There are drugs out there that make you feel awesome...
