Right now Johnson has my vote.
I register as an independent and although I have sympathies for many Libertarian Party positions, I take issue with enough to not consider joining the party. I agree with Johnson's stance on driver's licenses and the Civil Rights act. Those rabid enough to attend the Libertarian Party Convention are either Ayn Rand devotees or Tea Party types that don't care for god much.
I would like to see Johnson make the ballot in all 50 states and should be allowed to participate in debates. I don't think he has a realistic shot at winning of course, but if allowed to actively participate will pinch votes from both Democrats and Republicans in relatively significant numbers.
