These are all myths. The end of our species will happen at some point. But the worst way we could get to that point is to needlessly chase that utopia because of the myths of antiquity.
We can certainly kill ourselves off needlessly from a nuclear war and or pollution, but that wont be because of some old traditions, but our human ignorance that those old traditions have nothing to do with modern problem solving.
But even if we get smart now and stop being so stupidly tribal, we still have things like meteors and comets to worry about hitting our planet and that is not a matter of if, but when. And even before our sun runs out of energy and collapses or expands and fries our planet, odds are we will be long since extinct before that.
The best that humans can do right now is seek to extend our finite ride.
Maybe you should start asking why, why are we destined to an end?

Freedom of speech, huh?
Too bad he's gone, or good thing he is gone.
No Cristos, we are not "destine" to die, not like fictional poker chips in some cosmic bet between a sky hero vs a ground villain. We do die because all of nature is a cycle just like seasons changing. All life begins and all life ends, and even non life has a span, even our sun will have an end. But there is absolutely no fucking puppeteer pulling our strings.
You are not going to project your naked assertion on me because it is nothing more than your own wishful thinking.
