The gorilla can intentionally or unintentionally crush that kid in a second. Somehow I doubt you'd think it was worth the risk if it was your loved one out there....
I'd do a lot of things that would be considered wrong if someone threatened a loved one. That's why they refer to that as "too close to the situation". That doesn't really effect right or wrong.
