The 'prayer out of school' thing is so dumb. Why does prayer need to be led by an adult? What's stopping a student from praying at lunch? Recess? Study hall?
I mean, I know it's a dog whistle for "We're not indoctrinating our youth in the one true religion in public schools, and as a result bad things are happening! It has nothing to do with poverty, or anything else real!" But it bugs me because there's literally 0 thought behind it.
