Relationships of any kind are about compromise.
No one is the same, not one of us.
Also, people's ideologies change.
You might convince that guy that god is not real.
He might convince you that vaccines are great. Who knows?
That's the power of love. It blinds us and makes us dumber. Just kidding.
Personally, I have a few automatic cut-offs for dating.
She - must not wear high heels.
- must not be religious.
- must not believe in horoscopes.
- must have a kind heart.
- must like kids.
- must be attractive to my eye.
- must not like alcohol or drugs in excess.
and the list goes on and on and on.
So if I seriously start to want another relationship again, I realise I'm going to have to make some compromises.
Let's not forget, they have a list also. No doubt they will be making compromises as well.
Anyway, that's enough dribble from me.
