Speaking of, The wife and I were at the pokies the other day. You know sometimes you get a random feature thing where you have to touch things on the screen to reveal a prize. Usually you get just the free spins or the mini jackpot (about 20 odd bucks, etc). So on Saturday, I told the wife, this time I'm going to concentrate. I ended up getting the major jackpot.
That paid quite a bit. Anyway, after getting this random feature 3 more time, I kept concentrating.
I got the bigger jackpot every time! (Over $100). I thought: fuck! I am a little bit psychic! Withing 2 seconds I was entertaining leaving work and doing this for a living! The wife was onboard! Why not! I just proved it to her 4 times in a row!
Suffice to say, I got this feature again another 4 times and even though I was concentrating on the same fuzzy feelings to guide me to choose, I got the shit one every time! I was devasted! More because I had to go back to work on Monday and also because I realised that maybe I'm not that special after all....damn!
And I'm a sceptic! I now know how easy it is to get sucked in to the woo! I experienced it first hand...
