No, I responded to a post that we are punished for someone else's sin. That is not the case (which I explained in some many words).
You can blame Adam for the consequences of his sin but what does that really mean? He did not pass on the capacity to sin (we all have free will). Since we all have the capacity to sin, if Adam did not sin when he did, how long before someone did? You would have to prove that it is possible for even one person to make all morally perfect choices their whole life to complain about Adam.
