The choice is clear... you are gambling that your family will give you more $$ IF you attend this ritual once a week until your graduation...than you would make in the interim from your job. Is this not so??
So what you are REALLY belly aching about young padawan is that you thought that you would be able to 'pull a shifty' and end up with more $$ than you would otherwise?? ....stop being such a princess and suck it up.
It is for a short time only...and then you will be free...with $$$ AND able to NOT attend to this primitive ritual every week...
