I'm not gonna say it's pleasant, but the best thing you can do for yourself is to stay as relaxed as possible and take it easy where you can. It's only a few weeks, and it gets better the longer you're off of the stuff: you just gotta power through the valley in the middle, is all.
If you can, though, reduce your dose as much as possible before going off entirely, because that does help. Luckie got the patches she could cut in half, and we were down to a quarter patch before she went off completely, which made it easier on her system overall.
If I cut my patches in half they spill liquid out. I'm currently on 50mg. One of the reasons for going of is that I bump into stuff a lot. I'm all covered in knots and bruises (which don't because well...yea lmao). I was starting to wonder how many times I can knock my head into something before losing valuable brain cells.

So...I have some old 25mg patches. Should I bump back down to those for a bit first.
"Don't be nervous" he says. Bahaha that coming from you makes me think other kinds of thoughts. I'm nervous only because you know...people always share the withdrawal horror stories. No one ever says "oh yea I quit meds cold turkey and...it wasn't bad at all". People love sharing the horror stories.
