Did anyone really expect anything different?  20 Elementary school aged children were murdered in Sandy Hook, and they did nothing.  Do you really think they're going to change it after 49 people get killed in a gay bar?  If they don't care about the lives of 5 and 6 year olds, what makes you think they'd care about the lives of gay people and gay friendly people?  Of course they're not going to pass gun control of any kind.   If i were their political opponents, I'd start airing ads about how they don't care about life unless it's inside a woman's uterus.

There's already a lot of gun control laws on the books.  People need to give up on the Moses complex.
