I have used Cubase in the past, along with Proteus X Soundbank. I also have used Ableton Live. Unfortunately I lost my licence keys for them
For these songs I just used a cheap £20 music program called Techno 5 by Ejay. It's defunct now.
I've always wanted to try Fruity Loops. I might buy it (and buy Ableton Live again) when I have some more money. Is it as easy to use as Cubase? I'm very familar with Cubase so I may just buy that again.
Whatever other software I buy when I have the money, I absolutely am buying Ableton Live again, it allows me to record and play my music live which I adore.
