Instead of having to go through this circus act with so many new members, as so many mods keep on complaining about, why don't you either change your attitude, change the rules, or make it a public notice on the new member sign up page. I'm certainly sick of your whining.

This one goes out to a very special Hobbit out there. I'm sure he knows who he is.

Apologies Nap New members not knowing the forum stance on anyone making generalisations about atheism that don't happen to match the collective consensus here. The suggestion is that it should be stated in the sign up process more clearly.
IMHO, the vast majority of noobs don't have this problem.
What I enjoy most about this forum is the freedom to be yourself from the get go. We really shouldn't have to spell it out to anybody how to behave. It's just common courtesy with a bit of netiquette. It's worked well so far, why the fuck should we change or ammend anything? To the OP, you may feel you're trying to help somebody, my bet is on the person you are trying to help will turn on you eventually. This is the normal default for clear thinkers.
