No idea... memory is usually more expensive for older systems. You may be able to get by with a 4gb stick but if you have no free slots you'll need an 8g kit. Ask your PC guy, he should be able to tell you since he's laid eyes on it.
Awesome... I have minecraft running and my fan is super loud now. And I've got some lagging on Firefox now because of it. Ugh. FML.
I think I have available slots as I've never done anything to the innards of this thing and he was super excited to know that I had room for more stuff inside.
Just wanted a ballpark figure so I knew how much to set aside in two weeks. Thank you CD, also, for helping me with this stuff. I really hate being stupid over things like this. Give me an old car and I can rebuild the engine, change the breaks, oil, starter, rebuild the carburetor (if it's super old), put in a new head gasket etc... Give me a computer and I become useless.
