Gee, what a bunch of idiots these doctors.  

They studied 6 long years at the Uni and don't even know whether the bloke is alive or dead.
But no worry son.  

From now on I will make sure that only clowns wizards can assess whether the bloke is alive or dead.

Did I say they just can't tell if someone is dead? No, I did not. That's a straw man you created. Here's what I actually said:

I would generally expect doctors to be pretty good at telling whether somebody is dead, but that doesn't mean that they and their machinery can't be wrong. Just because a doctor declares somebody dead, doesn't mean they are. Doctors make mistakes just like everyone.

(Emphasis added because this is the second time I've told you this, and you clearly missed it the first time)


So, to be perfectly clear, I said doctors (and their equipment) can be wrong sometimes. I didn't say that they don't know how to tell if somebody is dead. No amount of medical training precludes a human being from making mistakes on the job, so even the world's best doctors are capable of occasional errors.


Furthermore, doctors' error is not the only possible explanation I offered for a person appearing dead without actually being dead. I also mentioned the possibility that we might not be currently able to detect and/or understand all levels of life and brain activity. If that were the case, a doctor could mistake a living person for a dead one without it even being his fault.


So you ignored most of my points, and the one point you argued turned out to be a straw man of the actual point. Way to fuck up at everything, Rik.
