I agree, I found it very disappointing. Downright boring at times.

I mean, it's GTA and GTA is fun just for that reason, but it didn't add much.

V is way better. I've still got a lot of it to play through.

GTA V seems very watered down to san andreas since you could do more in that game that versus the one out now. 
I prefer san andreas over V but V has some good mods.
