Network Television.
We wait a week to watch the program we want at a specific time.
Then we wait another week to watch the next episode at the same time.
Then another week.
Then another week.
Then another week.
Even though we know the show was already filmed and ready to be aired. Why can't we just watch it as much as we want like on pretty much any streaming service right now? Why do we even still have Network Television?
Because the television industry - like the film industry - is years behind the rest of the world. Streaming will inevitably replace it in time. Putting traditional TV on life support won't help save it.
