Definitely. Netflix and its ilk have already eradicated Blockbuster and indeed the entire traditional film-renting industry at large (there's still a few outliers out there, but the big players are gone). Broadcast television is next. The most crucial factor is one that's driven basically every industry ever - convenience. Unlimited, on-demand shows accessible whenever and on whatever device you want. How can traditional TV compete with that? More and more excellent, original content is being created by Netflix and Amazon Prime every day, it's attracting bigger names every day, and soon TV as we know it will be displaced by a better, more sensible, and more convenient business model.
As was foretold in the prophecy.
