I'm with your Losty. Every now and then I'll come across an old one which I want to respond to in public whether any one who was on it is still alive or not. Prefer to just discourage by reminding that those people probably aren't here to answer you back. If someone says, fine I want to continue the conversation with the people we have here now .. so be it.
