Biological changes have really nothing to do with evolution.

Really? Because the very dictionary you just quoted says otherwise:

It doesn't matter what it is said here and there.
What matter is what is right.
How the hell can be right when out of a change you may get progress as well as regress or the continuation of the old?
We humans may well have more brain than older generation but at the same time our body is weaker.
Progress has nothing to do with a step forward and one backwards.
Progress is only when the positive is not affected by the negative and this has absolutely nothing to do with your idea of evolution.
To call evolution a mere change is a demented idea.
