The narratives are bullshit. The UK had a 'sweetheart spot'. Fucking lol, even remainers must scoff at this. We got outvoted on more issues than any other European country. We might be one of the biggest funders of the EU but we certainly have nowhere near the most influence.
In terms of newspapers, they're all biased to some degree. I just try to look at as many different sources as possible. I tend to watch more than I read, France 24, Euronews, Al Jazeera tend to be the most unbiased I've seen on TV. Particularly I found their coverage of the whole referendum much less biased than the BBC's. Sky never really give the full story and tend to show snipets of interviews here and they chop and change stories to suit the narratives they want to tell.
The Guardian though, I have to say, is the Russell Brand of newspapers. Their opinion pieces are lines and lines of pointless drivel using obnoxious language to give the impression of being intellectual when in reality, they are exactly what they say at the top of the page. Opinions. But the butthurt lefty hippies on my facebook feed lap it up and read nothing but then talk like they have an enlightened view.
Uh, went off on one there but I really can't stand the Guardian.
