That's just crazy and stupid. I mean yes, balding young would definitely upset me a lot, because I've always taken a lot of pride in my hair, it's my crown. I'd definitely take your advice on that though 
I do see balding as all or nothing. I'd choose to shave my head bald before I'd let myself been with one of those pathetic combovers or rat-tails at the back with the hair that remains. You can't go half-measures with it, chop it off (which does look good on a lot of guys) or bring the money out for some good replacement options if you hate it that much.
