This may be all ficticious to your mind, but how many people do you meet who would propose even a hypothetical reason why we are here? You won't believe it anyway but here goes. If God started the perfect family in a heavenly place(just the scenario you see) and everything there goes well all the time, could not the occupants of this place wonder if there was anything about their father that they hadn't already experienced? Could they have asked about anything else? If God could have said "well there is something that you know nothing about because you have not asked before. That something is called evil. I will allow you to experience a place where you can live out this idea. It wont be fun. Any volunteers?" Enter prodigal son story Luke 15-11.
The one primary experience that this son gets for all of his trouble is appreciation. You don't truly value what you have until it is gone from you. This sons former world did not change, but his value for it really did. God let's us fall into a world of torment only because we asked to experience it.
I know that there has to be a GOOD reason why we are here, otherwise God would not appear fair at all to us. Also, we could not remember anything about our prior existance. That would affect our choices toward the good. We had to have a blind start. If any of you want biblical examples of pre-existance and foreknowledge about us, there are many many examples to show or you probably already know them. The possibility of an answer like this takes our blame toward God and places it squarely on our shoulders.
