I was "obligated" to be "sorry" for being upset about something that I had every moral right to be upset about.  Why would I ever be "sorry"?  And was starting to be very uncomfortable about being required to accept situations and people in my life that I did not want there just because they were going to church too.  

I've come to learn a lot about religion for what it really is since leaving and am very confident and satisfied with my decision.
