The medium of transmission would be the Higgs field.

Dr. Juan Yin and his research colleagues at the University of Science and Technology of China in Shanghai have recently used an experiment which, to them, demonstrates that the lower limit — yes, the lower limit — to the speed associated with entanglement dynamics (which is what Albert Einstein called “spooky action at a distance”) is at least 10,000 times faster than light.

Doesn'tt prove instantaneous transmission but it is faster than light...10,000 times faster at minimum.

It doesn't demonstrate transmission. Entanglement isn't transmission of information, which is what would be required if this is to function as the binding process of an omniscient entity. Asserting that the Higgs field is the bearer of information is an arbitrary assertion, and an example of a local hidden variable theory. Both are strikes against it.
