My only suggestion would be to figure out your strongest motivation for quitting and make sure to never forget that motivation again. Maybe you could share your motivation for quitting with us, and others might share their experiences, that way you can just look back in this thread whenever you feel the urge and be reminded why you wanted to kick the habit in the first place...
Totally loving this idea.
Okay, my reasons for quitting are:
1. My kids have asked me to quit. By far, the most important reason.
2. I'm tired of smelling like cigarette smoke.
3. I'm tired of not being able to really taste my food.
4. I want to get healthy.
5. I am 90% sure I'm ready this time.
6. I'm tired of depending on asthma medications, more so when I'm sick.
I don't know if there's any correlation to allergies (seasonal, hayfever etc) and smoking, but if I quit smoking, I think doing so might help raise my immune system up to better fight my allergies that I have.
Within the next month, I'd like to join a beginners yoga class. I understand not only can that help me lose weight, but it can also help me with my asthma.
