I don't know what's going on with the patent.
Looked on the PDL's to look into coverage of the alternatives. It appeared that Tier 1 coverage usually included Epi Pen and a recalled injector (Auvi-Q). I did see Adrenaclick covered a few times, but only under Tier 3 (non-preferred). That means at least 75 bucks a pop, if not more.
Doesn't really seem like there'd be a good reason for that unless something underhanded was taking place.
Hopefully, it'll be addressed with all the attention being brought to it.
