If your point is to give the 1% and GOP more of everything they have gotten over the past 36 years, I don't agree with that. So if we agree there is no morality or justification for that, then I don't see how blaming the government is solving anything, when it is the misuse of it by one party and one class.
I'd only blame dems politicians for allowing themselves to be controlled by the GOP narrative in that time, and the GOP gerrymandering. Being held hostage by the other party isn't the same as being the hostage taker.
So you wouldn't blame the Democratic Party for being equally complicit in the insane state of intellectual property law, which may not be the sole enabler of this atrocious corporate behavior, it is a sufficient one.
This is a bipartisan fucking problem. Your - and others - failure tonsure your own party's role in this only serves to prolong the problem.
